4T2 DVB TEST SET
The 4T2 DVB Test Set is the most accurate, yet compact and robust measurement solution for DVB-T and DVB-H available today. The instruments can be ordered as portable, or rack mounted systems and can be configured to meet any measurement demands.

4T2 Portable
The portable system combines real-time measurements of OFDM modulation parameters with transport stream analyser functions in a robust and easy to carry instrument.
The 4T2 2009 release comes with a new high resolution 1280x800 screen and the latest Core2 processor hardware. Hardware accelerated Transport Stream decoding makes the 4T2 compatible to more transmission formats, such as H.264 in high definition.
A diversity receiver input with content streamer is now standard to all 4T2's.
Even with all the new features, the weight of the instrument has been further reduced. The new cooling system improved the reliability and reduced the noise at the same time.
The new signal generator option is now fitting into the standard case without the extension to the back, like required with previous models.
As the only instrument available on the market, the 4T2 integrates:
- Modulation analysis, with constellation, MER, and EVM vs Carrier displays
- Bit Error Rates with Level and MER data logging
- Spectrum analysis with mask and marker support
- Impulse Response analysis with SFN transmitter power measurements
- Coverage analysis on a map with diversity support
- MPEG Transport Stream analysis, playback and recording
- DVB-H analysis suite
- Signal generator with COFDM RF output, variable signal and noise levels, and channel emulation features
4T2 Rack
Offering the same accuracy and flexibility like the portable system with a focus on integration into transmitter, or monitoring racks.
The 4T2 rack combines reference-quality RF measurements and Grass Valley Granite MPEG-TS multi-program monitoring with remote video and sound streaming.
The 4T2 rack offers selective and demodulator inputs for RF as well as ASI inputs for MPEG baseband.
In addition to ethernet http and SNMP interfaces, it can also be configured with relay alarm contacts.
The instrument has full software compatibility to the portable version and supports remote and local access to measurement results.
